The Mustang Boss 302 hit the sweet spot within Ford's 2013 pony car stable – fast and fun. It handled like a road racer and sounded even better. That said, it was even-tempered on the street. It was a Boss 302 that loyally honored its forebearer from 42 years earlier, but also trumped it in every performance category. This 2013 totally original Boss 302 is in virtually showroom condition. The stunning Ford Race Red exterior (code PQ) is accented by classic Black hood/side strips. Boss 302 19x9.5” black alloy wheels mount Pirelli P-Zero Z-rated performance radials. The black interior shows virtually no wear and is a very inviting space. There are a host of safety and convenience features including front/side airbags, A/C, optional embroidered Recaro cloth/vinyl seats, carbon fiber dash, power tinted windows and tilt-wheel. The Boss 302 is powered by Ford's 5.0L DOHC V8 that is rated at 444hp with 380 lb/ft of torque. This is a virtually bullet-proof motor with cast aluminum block/heads, forged crank and port fuel injection. The Boss 302 is factory equipped with a side/rear exit dual exhaust system. It is backed by a 6-speed manual gearbox and factory posi-traction differential w/3.73:1 gearing and traction control. The chassis is equipped with MacPherson strut front suspension w/shock tower brace and 3-link rear solid axle. Both front and rear sway bars are upgraded and spring rates are increased from the standard GT components. Power steering is electrically assisted and can be toggled to comfort, standard or sport modes. The Boss 302 is equipped with electronic stability control and ABS 4-wheel power disc brakes with 4-piston Brembo front calipers and 14” discs. All four shocks are manually adjustable.
