Camaro Restomod

Description

HIGHLIGHTS: Wow, what a car! Bumblebee is that you? Mild custom resto-mod 1979 Camaro with a classic paint job and plenty of upgrades! This car is sure to turn heads!

BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Camaro is clean and straight, and when this car was restored & customized it looks like it was done right! This car has clearly been taken care of since it was finished. Sitting on Foose wheels and BF Goodrich tires, this thing looks great!

PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint is a classic color combo and shows nicely! The yellow paint with black stripes is very similar to Bumblebee from Transformers, and is very eye catching. The paint has a nice glossy finish to it, and the yellow is sure to make you stand out in a crowd.

INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: While the exterior and underside received numerous upgrades, the interior was left mostly original-style down to the original steering wheel. A couple of minor tweaks remind you that this car is far from factory stock! The most noticeable change is the center console with built-in cupholder, followed by the nice aftermarket gauges and JVC stereo.

MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood is where things get interesting. This bad boy is powered by a 6.0 GM LS V8 with a Quickfuel carburetor and an Edelbrock intake manifold. The engine is a 2003 Gen III pickup motor with a cast iron block. It has a Kwik Performance serpentine front runner setup and brackets with a Vintage Air Surefit A/C system. Further upgrades include a Holley electric fuel pump, MSD ignition, aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, hydroboost 4-wheel drilled & slotted disc brakes, Wilwood master cylinder, Dynatech long tube headers, and a Magnaflow stainless dual exhaust system. But wait, there's more! This Camaro is also equipped with a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission, a G-Force transmission crossmember, subframe connectors, KYB shocks, polyurethane bushings, and a hydraulic clutch.

WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The “in your face” look, and all the slick performance upgrades!

WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: We can't think of anything to hate, unless you really don't like yellow.

DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The only thing it needs is new plastic interior trim above the windows. These appear to be originals and are showing their age.

WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Anyone looking for an affordable, unique, mild-custom restomod should be considering this one!
