Documented Numbers Matching GTX 440 V8 Air Grabber
This awesome GTX, still equipped with its original 440 and heavy duty automatic, is the kind of classic that'll show, and go, just as well as its high dollar Plymouth brethren. The only difference is: it doesn't require multiple bank signatures to finance! The car's high quality, professional restoration began with what appears to be a solid, rust-free body. That body was painstakingly stripped, sanded and massaged to better-than-new condition. Once those massaged panels were correctly aligned, a smooth coat of Chrysler code EB3 Light Blue Metallic was laid under correct transverse stripes. And the result is an ultra-straight, fully detailed pavement pounder that, thanks to its refreshing pigment, literally glows under our bright showroom lighting. Pull the hood pins and you'll find an original, 440 cubic inch RB V8 that hangs a correct 2536430 casting number between a 1969 casting date, correct “F” assembly stamp and matching 101993 partial VIN. More popular than Chrysler's famed Hemi, and almost as feared as Plymouth's 440 6 BBL, this Super Commando V8 was designed to offer an exceptional combination of speed and civility. Behind that reliable RB, an original A727 Torqueflite 3-speed, which is authenticated by a matching 101993 partial VIN, twists a familiar Chrysler rear end around fully streetable gears. Below that proven drivetrain, a heavy duty Hemi suspension has been methodically rebuilt to include factory power steering, a correct sway bar and sturdy drum brakes. And power flows to the pavement through familiar Rallye wheels, which spin meaty 225/70R14 front and 245/60R14 rear Goodyear Eagle STs around chrome lug nuts, silver centerpieces and satin trim rings. If you're ready to relive the golden age of Detroit in a muscle car you can actually enjoy, call, click or visit http://RKMotorsCharlotte.com about this awesome metallic Mopar!
