Description

The Ford Mustang has always been a great platform for hot rodders to customize and make it their own. Because so many different custom builds are on the market today buyers have to be careful to make sure they understand what has been done to the vehicle they are considering purchasing and if it was a quality build or not. That's why we always get excited when we see a quality build like this 1966 Mustang come through the doors!

Lovingly restored to its former glory, this Mustang has it all and is ready to be enjoyed on the open road! Gone is the original 6-cylinder engine and its been replaced with a 302 engine that has been built to run. A Holley 4-bbl carburetor feeds this thirsty engine, and chrome Moroso valve covers, a chrome Holley aircleaner, high-performance plug wires and ignition coil really dress the engine bay up. A flex fan and Edelbrock water pump keep it cool! Bolted to the engine is a T5 5-speed manual transmission that sends power to the Ford 8.8 rear end. This stallion both looks and acts the part of classic Mustang muscle!

The body is a near flawless red with white stripes. Painted earlier this year, it is no wonder the paint looks so good! This car was stripped down all the way to bare metal before it was painted, so the body is just as straight as can be and you know the paint quality is good! This bright red beauty is an American icon, sure to draw a crowd anywhere you take it. Oh, and those white stripes? They're painted, not cheap stickers!

The interior has received new material with Pony Package inserts in the only appropriate color match for the exterior: red with white inserts. Though the interior was replaced before the car was painted, it looks like brand new and you know you're looking at a restored car. Aside from minor age and wear on the dash and some of the items that normally see a lot of touching, you'd think this car was put together brand new yesterday! A retro-style modern unit is in place, providing a classic look with cassette and AM/FM. It may not be Bluetooth, but it sure beats AM only! The 5-speed stick looks right at home in the factory manual transmission location, and a removable cup holder armrest is the perfect choice for a cruiser. As a whole, the interior is really stunning and is truly the perfect classic combination with the slick red and white exterior.

This Mustang is really dialed in, and a lot of car for the price! This is a pony car lover's dream come true, turn-key and ready to go.
