The Fox-body Mustang is one of the most iconic muscle cars ever built, and it conjures up rosy images of '80s performance like nearly no other car from that era. This 1988 Ford Mustang GT Convertible is precisely the reason why, as it combines the classic Ford V8 under the hood with quintessentially-80s style. Powered by the legendary 5.0-liter, 302 C.I. "Windsor" V8 that breathes through multi-port electronic fuel injection, this '88 Mustang GT makes for one quick cruiser. Torque is put to the pavement through a 5-speed manual transmission, which not only is good for quick shifting but is also good for plenty of smiles behind the wheel. The correct "1C"-code black paint covers this Mustang's straight bodylines, a good driver's-quality paintjob that is complimented by the gray "MUSTANG GT" side moldings. Opening the twin doors reveals a beautifully-original interior, with plaid-patterned comfy cloth & vinyl bucket seats as well as tons of power options and a full center console. This Mustang GT came from the factory fully-loaded, with options including power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, factory A/C, a power convertible top, power windows, power mirrors, power locks, power seats with lumbar support, factory gauges & tachometer, a tilt steering column, cruise control, an updated AM/FM/MP3 stereo, and a sweet-sounding dual exhaust system. The car rides on the original 15" Mustang GT "Turbine" wheels over blackwall tires for an appearance straight out of 1988! This '88 Mustang GT runs and drives down the highway wonderfully, and with that 5-speed manual transmission, you're in for a lot of fun behind the wheel. It's ready to go at the turn of a key, and we think it would look great in your driveway.
