INCREDIBLE RESTOMOD, 6.2L LS3 V8, 6L80E, CUSTOM INTERIOR, A/C, READY TO ENJOY!
A split bumper second-gen Camaro is always a crowd pleaser, but this 1973 Camaro takes it to the next level! Every little detail has been addressed to make this Camaro the ultimate retro driving machine. This car is fun, fast, well put together, and has so many great attributes we aren't even sure where to begin!
Perhaps the most noticeable custom touch to this car is the addition of a Chevrolet Performance 6.2 liter LS3 engine. The engine sounds great, looks attractive in the engine bay, and most notably the fuel injection provides easy startups on the first try every time. The power meets the road by way of a 6L80E GM transmission and a TA Performance 12-bolt rear end. This car runs and drives like a new car; the ideal candidate if you're looking for a classic you can treat like a modern vehicle. A few other goodies under the hood include Billet Specialties hood hinges, Billet Specialties valve covers, Billet Specialties fender connectors, a shaved firewall, and TruTrac A/C. Additionally, a Billet Specialities front runner system has been installed.
The exterior is painted in a very attractive orange the really flatters the styling of this car. The carbon fiber-style vinyl stripes are a nice contrast to break up the orange a little. This Camaro sits on a set of Billet Specialties wheels with some quality BF Goodrich tires on both front and rear. The build quality of this car is great, and it really shows even from a distance! A locking gas cap has been installed to complete the modernized look of the car, plus it gives you some peace of mind about the safety of your gasoline. The underside of this Camaro is every bit as attractive and exciting as the topside, if not more! Underneath you'll find 4-wheel disc brakes by Baer, Detroit Speed sway bars and custom subframe connectors, Detroit Speed coilover shocks, Detroit Speed tubular upper and lower control arms, and a Detroit Speed rear quadra link setup.
The interior is exactly what you would hope it to be; creature comforts and a streamlined appearance all integrated into one! It has a custom dash with custom heat and A/C vents as well as heat and A/C controls in the dash. A custom center console, modern style headliner, and modern radio all make this Camaro feel more and more like a new car. The interior is fully custom, with very few original Camaro attributes remaining. It has a full set of Autometer gauges, power windows, a Billet Specialties steering wheel, tilt column, chrome pedal covers, and a finished, boxed-in trunk with a great look to it. The heat and A/C work just as well as that of a brand-new car! This Camaro would be the ideal candidate for a fun, fast, unique daily driver that is as reliable as a new car with the looks of an old car. The automatic transmission and custom interior really designate this car as a powerful cruiser, ready for daily use, touring, or whatever fun cross-country road trips you may have in mind. You won't find another one done up like this!
