This 1971 Chevrolet El Camino is a true survivor, having been owned by the same owner since 1973. With its vibrant orange and burgundy paint, which was repainted in the 1980s, and black vinyl top shows some signs of age, adding to its authentic character. The chrome on the car appears to be all original.
Underneath the car, you'll find a meticulously clean and well-maintained vehicle. The 350 V8 engine, which has been fully refurbished in 2017, delivers 245 horsepower through its 2-barrel carburetor. The engine retains its original air intake, adding to its originality. Great driver and fires up each time with no issues.
Equipped with an automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes, this El Camino offers a comfortable driving experience. The interior features a Sandalwood bench seat matching headliner. The interior appears to be in good condition and could use a little cleaning to shine up.
This El Camino retains many of its original components, including factory wheels with center caps, a matching painted truck bed, and the correct spare tire and jack assembly. It also comes with the original owner manual and protect-o-plate, adding to its historical value.
This El Camino is a rare find in this original survivor condition. Don't miss your chance to own this piece of automotive history located in Austin, TX.
