1 Owner/Garage Kept/28,363 Miles/5.7L LS1 V8/Tremec T56 Manual/Window Sticker
1999 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 30th Anniversary Coupe
For consignment, a somewhat rare high horsepower muscle car. A 1 owner car, always garage kept with a mere 28,363 actual miles logged on the clock. Number 1,480 of the 30th Anniversary coupe editions, this 1999 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am has a 5.7 LS1 Liter aluminum engine, the most potent engine in any GM car aside from the Chevrolet Corvette that year and has 320 horsepower, Goodyear Eagle rubber, the WS6 package, special 17" blue tinted wheels, a beefed-up suspension system, upgraded dual exhaust and the Ram Air hood.
Exterior
With its exterior sculpted by the wind, the vents, openings, cowls, and spoiler abound and this car presents with a fab line. Hidden headlights and an integrated body matching bumper leads us up to a ram air hood and some stripes for this hood and it is pure sculpted sex! A T top with removable panels, black trimmed windshield and top surrounds and some venting in the front quarter to give the 5.7 liter LS1 plenty of room to breathe outside air are more highlights. Out back below the expanse of greenhouse rear glass is a nicely sculpted rear spoiler with a continuation of the blue stripe from the front of the car. Large rounded honeycomb style tail lighting and another integrated body matching bumper below and this car looks much like it is ready to race in its own right. Blue tinted 17-inch alloy wheels are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 tires on all 4 corners. This paint scheme pays homage to the 1969 Trans Am with Arctic White paint which is in excellent condition and has all the right stripes. We do note a few scuffs in the finish, particularly on the driver's front quarter and a broken windshield cowl trimming on the passenger side, but these small flaws do not detract from the overall beauty of the car.
Interior
Looking inside this car, the pure-white Prado leather-covered bucket seats look like they are brand-new, and some embroidery in blue is within the headrests. It retains the factory-installed Delco AM/FM CD Monsoon stereo player complete with a trunk mounted 12 CD changer and its special limited-edition, numbered 30th Anniversary plaque, (number 1480), on the center console. The interior of this car is in excellent condition. Seen in back are more buckets finished in the same white Prada leather and present in almost never sat in condition. The dash is a large and busy piece of engineering and design, analog gauges with orange needles that are sharp looking and easy to read. The digital odometer shows a mere 28,363 miles clocked on this car.
Drivetrain
With a potent 5.7 liter LS1 engine, this car is the most potent from this year aside from the Corvette. Rated at 320hp it can get you to your destination in a hurry. A WS6 Ram air package is installed and is fed by the openings in the hood. A Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission is on back. Putting power to the ground is a 3.42 geared limited slip 10-bolt differential.
Undercarriage
All showing in beautiful structurally sound condition with just a fine coating of surface rust on the usual suspects: some suspension, driveshaft, and rear axle. The floor pans are stamped steel and show no corrosion, neither does the unibody or rockers. 4-wheel ABS disc brakes are on and this car has tuned suspension on all 4 corners, independent coil spring in the front and a torque arm and coil spring in the rear. Also noted is a stainless steel low restriction exhaust system still pristine at the low mileage point. Looking just great underneath.
Drive-Ability
Slipping inside this car harkens me back to the 1969 version to which this pays homage. It fired right up and ran like a dream with plenty o'power to say the least. It handled great, and all functions were working as they should save for the AC blowing warm and the driver's power mirror being non-functional. A very comfy interior and easy to drive car.
The 30th Anniversary Trans Am is a head turner. More than anything else, the special graphics and curvaceous design really set it off, and then it has the LS1 and the Ram Air, which in my opinion is the knockout punch. Even sitting quietly in your garage, it is about as subtle and politically correct as an official NASCAR race car ready for the track. If you want attitude, and power to back it up, then this 1999 Pontiac Trans Am 30th Anniversary Edition is the one you need to be sitting full time in.

Big block power with 565 cubic inches of displacement and lots of friends, this car is wild. Opening on the sight of six American muscle car masterpieces, 1320 seemingly has their work cut out for them in the information department. That's because the collection features such icons as a bright red Chevrolet Bel Air, a yellow Camaro, and what looks like a lifted Chevrolet K10. In fact, the owner seems to have a mighty strong affection for GM and Chevrolet automobiles. On top of all that, there i read more
