Featuring a 32-value DOHC 303ci 5.4L, aluminum heads, and a revised Eaton supercharged V8 the 2nd generation of the modern Shelby GT500 produced 540hp and 510 lb.ft. of torque. This increased the performance capabilities of the vehicle enabling it to achieve 0-60mph in just 4.6 seconds on it's way to a 12.9 second 1/4 mile. A Tremec 6-speed manual transmission was the only available transmission and with a 3.55 rear end the RPM's come up fast making this top down performance experience truly exhilarating as well as allowing the vehicle to achieve 22mpg highway at cruising. Improvements also showcased a curvier body, an aluminum hood with a large NACA vent, a more refined vehicle with nicer interior and improved luxuries.

Finished in black over a charcoal and black interior the appearance is menacing yet refined. For the 2010 GT500, Ford produced 4,545 examples of which just 912 were convertibles. 261 were painted black and of those only 57 were produced without stripes. This is example is 1 of those 57.
