AFFORDABLE DROP TOP STANG, 302, AUTO, PS, PB, AC, EXCELLENT DRIVER, PRICED RIGHT
Are you searching for that perfect summertime cruiser, but don't want to fork out $30,000 for a car that is going to be enjoyed and driven? Then this might be the ideal car for you. We are huge fans of the '71-'73 Ford Mustangs because they provide buyers with a great look, rumbling V8, and a lot of options that you don't typically get with the generation before it. That's why cars like this 1973 Ford Mustang convertible are the perfect cruiser car.
It starts with a straight body that features a gorgeous shade of Ivy Bronze. Right off the bat you'll notice that this isn't your run of the mill Green. This green has just the right amount of flake in it that makes it stand out compared to the Rally Green or Forest Green colors. The body is straight, and the chrome looks to be in very good condition. It isn't perfect, but it's still shows well enough that you would be proud to display it at your local car show. The 17" Cragar wheels are a nice addition as well as the Chrome Exhaust tips.
Lift the long hood and you'll find the famous Ford 302ci V8. Right off the bat, you'll notice that it appears to be unmolested, the FoMoCo blue air filter still sits atop the engine and short of a new set of yellow plug wires, the engine bay looks to be original. You'll notice that you have power steering, air conditioning, and power brakes. The A/C compressor does kick on, but the system appears to need a charge to blow ice cold.
Inside the interior is pure 1973 and in fantastic shape. The green vinyl bucket seats are showing little to no wear and everything from the gauges, radio and horn all work the way they are suppose to. If you have ever wanted to be transported to 1973, sitting behind the wheel of this Mustang would do it!
