21K Original Miles/All Original/LS-1 V8 6-Speed Manual/Alloy Wheels
1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
The Z28 code was the RPO code they used when the 67 Camaro was to be ordered with an engine that met the specs of the SCCA Racing. That engine had to have less than 305 Cubic Inches. So, Chevy took a 327 block, installed a 283 crank, and got a 302. This was used for both the 67 and 68 model years.
For consignment just fresh out of a private collection, this 1995 Z28 is a low mileage (21,817 original miles) all original time capsule. It has OEM tires, original paint, original interior, and numbers matching drivetrain. A 6-speed manual, LT-1 engine, and fuel injection, all bathed in Polo Green, which means GO baby GO!
Exterior
From tip to toe, top to bottom, and everywhere in between, we see factory Polo Green and looking just fab! Integrated bumpers, body matching, front and rear melt into the steel body panels which are straight and totally ding free. A few strategically placed pieces of black trim are seen throughout and add just a bit of downplay to the Polo Green. Fog lights are upfront to light the way. On top a dual paneled smoked glass removable “T” style top has nearly new factory rubber seals and opens the cabin up for some fresh air. Just behind the B pillar is a curved greenhouse glass enclosure for the rear passengers, as well as any of their gear to store in back. On back the curvaceous spoiler runs the width of the arched rear, and large taillights peek out from underneath. Factory Camaro badged alloy wheels are on all 4 corners, as well as those OEM tires.
Interior
Graphite leather covers all the seating surfaces which present with high back buckets upfront, and a small rear 2 plus 2 bench. These are pristine in condition as are the door panels that cozy up to the seats when the doors are closed, and you are in ready to go mode. We see power windows, power seats, power locks, preferred equipment group, and A/C. Black carpet floods the floors, and the dash is all original and all clean as a whistle. A digital readout AM/FM/CD player is factory, and all is just perfect with the interior world.
Drivetrain
Under the hood is the numbers matching 5.7 liter LT-1 V8 with fuel injection to feed it the go juice. A 6-speed manual T56 transmission is on back, with the skip shift function eliminated, pushes power rearward to a performance optioned 3.42 10 bolt rear axle.
Undercarriage
As one would expect from a private collection car with low low miles, the underside is nearly showroom, with no rust to be seen, nicely painted floorpans, rust free rockers and overall, very nice unibody undercarriage. Power disc brakes are on the front and back.
Drive-Ability
Nearly like-new is the buzzword for this wonderful time piece from '95. It starts right up, and rolls with the best of them on the test track with smooth power, straight braking, and everything in working order. A/C blows cold, and the stereo is audiophile quality.
Words like private collection, rotisserie restoration, frame off, time capsule, or survivor all mean a top notch quality car, and in the case of this one, private collection means all original. Nearly perfect interior, excellent exterior, plenty of muscle for the power, and a comfortable cruiser if you so desire. The T top is a bonus, and one almost cannot go wrong with this low mileage pampered, garaged, never in snow green baby.
