This stellar car has an odometer that reads 31,046 miles, has been given a professional frame-off rotisserie restoration and is documented with its original broadcast sheet, original IBM punch card, the owner's manual and a known ownership history accompanied by historic photos. Beyond that, a Dave Wise report completed in 2022 and two Chrysler Registry reports, one completed prior to restoration and a second one completed after the restoration, are also part of the sale.

The matching-numbers 426/425 HP V-8 engine, matching-numbers A727 Torqueflite automatic transmission and A36 Performance Axle Package with 3.55 gears are all here. This car has power steering and power brakes with front discs as well as the Hemi underpinnings, but of course, is most recognizable by its radical body parts. That includes the nosecone, special hood with functional pins, fender-mounted simulated air scoops, unique rear window installation that mandated the vinyl top, and towering rear spoiler with Road Runner Superbird graphics.

The Alpine White paint uses black Plymouth body decals and features a bench seat interior. Inside is the Rallye instrument cluster with a 150 MPH speedometer and Tic-Toc-Tach, 3-speed wiper controls, Chrysler Solid State AM radio and a column-mounted shifter. The seats are covered in black vinyl with silver accenting, and the full-size spare is in the trunk. Indeed, as the images show, the undercarriage is also fully detailed. This car rides on premium Rallye wheels and a set of Goodyear Polyglas GT tires. No, not all Superbirds were Hemis, but this factory-driveline car is—and is restored to excellence.
