Mechanical

Our 2008 Ford Shelby GT has the supercharged 4.6-liter V8 that was fitted with an aftermarket supercharger to give it alot more horsepower than the stock engine, has fuel injection, ram air type air cleaner system, and most parts being stock from the factory.

A manual gearbox routes all that through a limited-slip rear axle and Antilock disc brakes by Brembo feature four-piston calipers and 14-inch rotors up front with two-piston calipers and 11.8-inch discs in back are standard, as is traction control.

With more power than any of the revered Shelby Mustangs of the 1960s, the 2008 Ford Shelby GT offers performance that's nothing short of intoxicating.

In addition it has a tuned suspension, sticky supercar tires and meaty Brembo brakes with 14-inch front rotors fitted with four-piston front calipers, racing stripes, emblazoned with "Shelby GT" and that beefed-up chassis to handle all the power belted out by that monster motor.

The instruments include a boost gauge and a trip computer/message center and it has Sirius Satellite Radio, black carpet and floor mats, HID headlights, DVD Navigation system, and a stereo radio system.
