In 2005, Ford took a decidedly retro tone with its newest thoroughbred, announcing a series of 'lifestyle' models to accompany the car's production run. In 2006, with the appearance of Shelby monikers, enthusiasts were cautiously optimistic about a resurrection of the hallowed Boss name. In 2011, the triumphant return of the 5.0 liter V8 stoked desire for a track-bred performer. And in 2012, Boss 302 production officially resumed.

But wait, there's more to the story. Not satisfied with building the Boss legacy into the “quickest, best-handling straight-production Mustang ever offered”, Ford decided to turn the performance dial from 10 to 11. Officially unveiled at the Rolex Historic Races at Laguna Seca, the Boss 302 Laguna Seca added standard Recaro seats, a standard Torsen differential, Ford Racing brake ducts and even more extreme suspension tuning to the already capable Boss 302. Production would be capped at roughly 750 units per year, and the car's aesthetics would be no less spectacular than its demeanor!

Combining rich Road Runner power with a track-tuned suspension, this sinister pony is a two-owner dynamo that's traveled just 3,262 miles over the course of 11 sunny summers!
