Well, here's some utility with both function AND fun. In the showroom now is this 1978 Chevrolet El Camino, and Coyote Classics is very happy to present it for your consideration. This El Camino has excellent power delivery and the steering stays nice and tight, pointing the car in whichever direction the driver wants to go. The new, redesigned 1978 El Camino began the 1980s adapting to the updated sharp-edged design language, keeping to the Malibu's styling with single rectangular headlights and Malibu grill pattern. For the first time, though, the El Camino had a unique chassis – it was shared with no other Chevrolet. This example gets down the road via a 350 C.I. V8 breathing through a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, showing that this El Camino certainly isn't hurting for power. Torque from that 350 is put to the pavement through a 3-speed column-shifted automatic transmission, good for quick and seamless shifting. The black paint on this truck has been buffed to a brilliant shine, and the gold pinstriping/accents match very well. That color combination fits nicely with the tan vinyl interior, featuring a bench seat that is perfect for long cruises. Options on this '78 Camino include power steering, power brakes, an MSD distributor, a heater + defroster, an updated AM/FM/CD stereo system, underdash performance gauges, a tilt steering wheel, a remote driver's-side mirror, and a sweet-sounding dual exhaust system. This aggressive truck rides on chrome, 15" American Racing wheels paired to a some stylish Firestone Wilderness blackwall tires. If you're in the market for a classic truck that not only hauls the groceries but also has the looks to back up its sound, then what we've got here is exactly what you're looking for.
