This 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS 454 LS6 is a survivor with 64,411 actual miles (title reads mileage exempt) and is one of 4,475 LS6s sold in 1970. This LS6 was thoroughly inspected by Jerry MacNeish and comes with his detailed authentication report which indicates the entire drivetrain is original to the car including the 454/450hp V8 engine backed by an M22 HD 4-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt 3.31 open ratio rear axle. This LS6 proudly wears its factory Cranberry Red exterior finish with black stripes, with a black vinyl top and features a cowl induction hood. It also has power steering and power brakes. According to Jerry's report, it features an original bucket seat interior, trim tag calls for code 756 black bucket seat interior but car now has an original (not reproduction) Chevrolet interior code 791, parchment bucket seats with console. Jerry's report also makes several important notes such as: Original drive train LS6's are very hard to find as many were blown up on the street or race track from abuse when these cars were new, and this Chevelle has a lot of originality and has never been restored, there is still a large percentage of original paint on the exterior body and this car is a time capsule in many ways. This Chevelle rides on 15-inch SS wheels wrapped in Goodyear tires.Financing available for up to twelve-year terms, on approved credit. While we do safety inspections and make in house repairs, all classic vehicles are sold strictly in AS-IS condition. In addition, all vehicles displayed miles either on websites or odometers are considered to be Non-Actual, unless expressly documented otherwise. All buyers are encouraged to have third party inspections done before taking delivery. It is the responsibility of the buyer to conduct any inspections and examination necessary to satisfy himself of all material facts before making any offers. All sales will be final.
