LRA Auto Museum and Sales presents this 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Supersnake that was sold new at Team Ford where it was acquired by the first owner. It is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 linked to a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a Whipple supercharger, Borla exhaust components, an Eibach rear sway bar, 20″ Shelby forged-alloy wheels, a fiberglass hood, a carbon-fiber front splitter, a rear spoiler, side and rear quarter-window scoops, navigation, and air conditioning.

This 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake is finished in black with matte black stripes over black and red leather upholstery. The car is said to be one of 178 GT500 coupes finished in black with a red interior for the model year and features matte black over-the-top stripes in addition to a carbon-fiber front splitter, mirror caps, and rocker panel extensions. Additional exterior details include a vented fiberglass Super Snake hood with pins and a functional scoop as well as aluminum grille inserts, front and rear brake ducts, a rear spoiler, quarter-window scoops, Shelby badging, HID headlamps, fog lights, and sequential tail lights.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, an SVT-branded tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges, while Super Snake-specific readouts for boost pressure, fuel pressure, and oil pressure are mounted in a pod atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 6k miles.

The 5.4-liter V8 is equipped with a Whipple supercharger, Borla exhaust components, a revised mass airflow sensor, and a cold air intake. The dyno results provided in the gallery show peak outputs of 707 horsepower and 628 lb-ft of torque.
