LOW MILES, LS1, AUTO, LOADED, NEAR PERFECT, HIGHLY DOCUMENTED, COLLECTOR GRADE
Would you ever really be deciding between a collector car with a street-eating V8, and an economy hatchback? Of course not! But right now, you can pick up a near pristine 2002 35th Anniversary Chevrolet Camaro Z28/SS at an incredibly value price and essentially get both.
There's no mistaking the fourth-generation Camaro SS with its massive hood scoop, force feeding the LS1 underneath. It is finished in stunning Rally Red, which was by far the most popular color in 2002. Although, that's a relative term, since only 1443 automatic SS coupes were built in this generation's final year. Still about as shiny as the day it was new, this F-body has been expertly maintained, making sure it continues to be a valuated collector's item. Correct SS badges on the front fenders and rear bumper help identify what was ultimately a very sophisticated package. There's also a large integrated wing out back, and the blacked-out canopy gives it a purposeful look. Even if you do decide to keep this pristine Camaro for an investment, the T-top will probably lure you out for plenty of starry night cruises.
Open the door to a terrific black interior. This completes the ultra-desirable all-black presentation. So, if you're a collector, you'll love that this Camaro was born this way. Plus, the T-tops let you show off this exceptionally fresh interior to the world. But more than just long-term value, this was built to be a great driver. The leather buckets in front are grippy in the corners and the driver's one electronically adjusts to be comfortable for all-day drives. Another reason why this one feel great is because it's loaded. That means keyless entry, power windows power locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, and dual airbags. Plus, with ice-cold air conditioning, you can ride around with the T-Tops out and the music turns up long through the summer season.
Chevy's LS1 engine became famous overnight, and anyone who worried about the passing of the small block torch need not have been concerned. Its aluminum construction shaved precious pounds from the nose of the car, while it cranked out more power than any small block in history. When you pop the hood, you'll almost feel like singing the soundtrack from 8-Mile because this Detroit muscle machine feels like it's still fresh from 2002. Everything important seems to be OEM, from the massive air filter up front to the special dual-wall exhaust manifolds. This is a modern classic, which means the convenience of a four-speed automatic, four-wheel disc brakes, traction control, ABS, and tacky 275/40/17 Firestone Firehawks on the special SS alloy wheels.
This is a high-horsepower anniversary car from the final year of its generation (Camaros were not made again until 8 years later). They can't get much more classic than this, and it will never be more affordable than now. Call today!
