"Super Sport"
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS for your consideration. Powered by a 396ci V8 that is mated to a four-speed manual transmission. With power steering and power brakes, this Chevelle drives out well. When it's time to get down and boogie, the power from the 350 horse motor is more than plenty to have a great time!
This Chevelle is still wearing the original color of Cranberry Red according to the cowl tag, and the matching red interior is also correct (Code 75 paint - Code 787 interior). The exterior shows itself well but does have a few imperfections as noted in the photo gallery. It rides on the correct SS wheels and features all of the correct SS badging throughout the exterior. This Chevelle remains in a stock configuration. Inside the vehicle is exceptionally clean and has the proper gauges, Hurst shifter, faux wood trim on both the center console and door cards, and air conditioning.
The Chevelle was a mid-size model that was produced over a few generations starting in 1964. The second generation is arguably the most popular and featured a distinctly sculpted “coke bottle” body with tapered fenders and a rear quarter kick up. When people think about muscle cars the Chevelles produced from 1968-72 jump right to mind. The Chevelle 2nd generation was the GM A-body perfect size for anything you wanted to stuff under the hood to make your ride jump off the line when commanded to do so. Their bold lines leave a lasting, timeless style of the American muscle era.
