Some of the meanest and most reved up muscle cars to ever come out of the Chevrolet Motor Division in the 60s and 70s were the SS Chevelles.

It is the very essence of a true muscle car with its factory blue paint with white stripe scheme, white interior, and a convertible top let alone the correct 350 cubic inch motor and great running gear.

Engine & Drivetrain

Our 71 SS is fully loaded with tinted glass, the F41 Special Suspension package, 12-bolt Posi-Traction rear end, JL2 front disc brakes, J50 Power Brakes, Sports Steering wheel, N40 Power steering, gauge package, and the Z15 SS Group Package.

It has the correct small block Chevy 350 cubic inch engine with the block, heads, intake, and valve covers painted Chevrolet Orange, a 4-barrel carb, factory cast iron exhaust headers, factory black painted single snorkel air cleaner and correct factory lid decal, power brakes, power steering, Special Suspension package, 12-bolt Posi-Traction rear end, front disc brakes,
with all sitting in a clean and detailed engine compartment.

It also has a chassis as clean and detailed as the rest of the car plus repro decals adorning both the engine and the chassis to make it look like it just came off the assembly line.

Interior

The restored interior consists of a white front bench seat with headrests with its matching white rear seat, black seat belts, white SS door panels, factory dash and stock gauges, black carpet and black floor mats, push button radio system, and it steers with a Chevelle steering wheel.

It also comes with a binder full of paperwork including the Owner's Manual and Build Sheet, as well as a lot more, including copies of those chassis decals.

Exterior

Our 1971 Chevelle has the factory Ascot Blue paint scheme with with stripes, white convertible top that looks great. It has the SS look and great styling that includes the classic Chevelle theme with large single-unit headlights, blacked-out grille, chrome bumpers, and integral park/signal/marker lights, dual round taillights, Cowl Induction hood with the hood pins and lanyards, white SS stripes, and the SS emblems that really set it apart.

It rides on dark grey factory painted 5-spoke mag SS wheels with chrome trim rings and caps, with the fat raised white letter Goodyear Polyglas GT replica performance tires and the great sounds coming out the dual exhaust via the chrome tips.
