1973 Plymouth Duster 340 Six Pack V8 Pistol Grip Four Speed Power Brakes PS
Here we have a 1973 Plymouth Duster for sale. This car packs a ton of eye appeal with a gorgeous color scheme while also being a blast on the highway with the 340 Six Pack and Pistol Grip Four Speed. If you're looking for a Mopar that's ready to cruise and enjoy, you won't want to miss this one! In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of this Plymouth but first we would like to tell you a little about us. We will start off with the exterior of this Duster. The body is in great condition as all the panels are straight and have a great fit. We can see it has beautiful body lines and great gaps. Everything is showcased by the Moulin Rouge paint that was done in base coat clear coat. It's been polished to a gorgeous finish that's slick as a ribbon, and it's accented by the Dual Snorkel hood that's done in black along with having the Black side stripes with the 340 call out. Up front we can see that the grill is in excellent condition along with all the trim and headlight bezels. Both the front and rear bumpers look to have been replaced at the time of the restoration. Out back the taillights and bezels are equally nice, and we can see it has the Black accents along with the Duster emblem. This Plymouth has the factory rear vent glass and standard roll down door glass. All the glass is in excellent condition and functions as it should along with having good seals and weather stripping. To finish off the exterior it's sitting on the factory style Rally Wheels with Centers, Beauty Rings and BF Goodrich Radial T/A White Letter Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '73. On the inside it's done in the classic black that flows perfectly with the exterior color combo. The front door panels are in great condition along with the handles and window cranks. This Duster comes with bucket seats up front and bench seat in the back. All the seat covers are in excellent condition along with the padding. New carpet and headliner were installed at the time of the restoration and they did a great job with the install. This '73 has the iconic Pistol Grip Four Speed shifter in the floor! Looking at the dahs we can see that the pad is in great shape and that all the gauges are beautiful and have the wood grain accent. Inside the trunk is all solid and has had new weather stripping installed.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Plymouth. Under the hood it has the same eye for detail as everything is neat and clean. The power comes from the 1967 model 340 V8 that's set up with the three two-barrel Six Pack Intake and Holley Carbs. It's dressed in the correct style air cleaner, and the black valve covers. All the inner fenders and firewall look great. This 340 is set up with Power Steering and Power Brakes. For exhaust it has manifolds with dual pipes and flowmaster style mufflers. The 340 Six Pack is mated to the Four Speed Trans and the 8 ¾” Sure Grip rear end with around a 3.55 gear.. When we look under this Mopar we can see that all the frame and floors are rock solid and in excellent condition. All the suspension is very nice as well. On the highway this Duster runs out phenomenal. It has plenty of power and is a blast to drive as the transmission shifts out smooth and it handles with ease. Don't miss your chance to own this iconic Mopar that's ready to cruise and enjoy!
