440V8, 727 AUTO, IN-VIOLET W/ BLACK INT, WILWOOD POWER 4-WHL DISC BRAKES, MORE!
HIGHLIGHTS: Clean, classic B-Body Mopar! 440V8 with 727automatic transmission! In-Violet purple with black interior!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this 1970 Plymouth GTX is in good condition, which is no surprise considering this vehicle appears to have received a restoration in the past. Both lower quarter panels have been patched, as can be seen in the trunk, but the repairs appear to have been done correctly and this car shows very well.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: This GTX was repainted in In-Violet, the Plymouth name for Plum Crazy, and it looks fantastic! The fender tag is missing, and if we had to choose a color for this car, In-Violet would've been it. The paint is in very nice overall condition, but it does appear to be an older paint job and does show some minor defects that come with age. Nonetheless, it has a great shine to it and certainly does not need to be repainted unless you're looking for absolute perfection! Last but not least, the slotted US Mag wheels really set this GTX off and give it a period-correct look.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior has also been redone in black vinyl with white piping, which is an excellent choice to complement the purple exterior. Interior upgrades include a column-mounted Equus tachometer, Summit Racing under-dash oil, temperature, and amp gauges, and a Hurst Pro-Matic shifter.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: The 440 is one of the most popular engines that ever came out of a Chrysler factory. The 440 in this GTX is a 1973 model year, and runs great! It sounds fantastic through the dual exhaust. Other upgrades include Mopar electronic ignition, MSD coil and ignition wires, and Wilwood four-wheel power disc brakes. This puppy was built to be driven!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The color and the price-point!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: The lack of a fender tag and matching drivetrain can be off-putting to some buyers.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? There are no rear seatbelts currently installed.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Anyone looking for an affordable price on a solid, head-turning Mopar!
