"One Bad Trans-Am"
From 1982-1992 Pontiac built the third generation of Firebird. Keep in mind this era of automobiles were trying to be re-born and find their place in Automotive design and history. The 70's had two different fuel crisis, it also saw the start of governmental restrictions on safety and performance. So, during the 1980's there were so many different ideas, some tried, some scrapped before they hit the design floor but GM wanted to remain true to its Camaro and Firebird or F-Body platform and build something cool. This particular Firebird Trans-Am originally came with the 5.0 Liter 190 HP engine but has since been swapped with a full build of a 350 Cubic Inch bored and stroked to 383 Cubic inch. This car was also originally equipped with some rare options like the Recaro sport seats and digital dash. The build continues with all the finest parts including a full roller top end, Edelbrock Victor intake, Fi-Tech fuel injection mated to a 700 R4 w/3,000 stall. In addition it also has KYB Adjustable shocks both front and rear, Eibach springs, Control arms with adjustable torque arm and sub-frame connector. Has an aftermarket ram-air hood and rear spoiler that was professionally painted. There are like new Mickey Thompson Drag Radials with 4-wheel disc brakes. This thing is a monster that starts, runs and drives fantastic. Shifts perfectly and goes down the road as it should. This consignor has owned this car for more than twenty years and is the 2nd owner. He is also responsible for the build. You can literally drive this car everyday and then take it to the strip.
