The 1978 Chevrolet El Camino was the first year of the 5th and final version of the Chevelle and Malibu based light-duty pick up hybrids. For the first time it shared its own unique chassis, not sharing with any other Chevrolet Model. It was available in V6, as well as a 305 or 350 cubic inch V8 option. The only available transmission was the 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic.

Offered is a 1978 Chevrolet El Camino in non-original white with grey top. The interior includes blue vinyl bucket seats and accents. Equipped with power steering, power brakes, non- factory AM/FM cassette stereo, the El Camino is powered by a replacement V8 engine. Although true mileage is unknown, the odometer states 78,232 miles. Need a little bit of everything, but this first year, last generation model is a solid easy restoration project.
