Since its debut in 1969, the Pontiac Trans-Am has always been a popular offering in the sports car market due to its aggressive styling and performance. This 1987 Pontiac Trans-Am is a very nicely preserved, original example of the 3rd generation of these great sports cars. This 1-owner (still on its original title) Trans-Am has just over 48,000 original miles and presents as such. Powering this great Pontiac is its correct LG4 305 cubic inch, 5.0 liter V8. Transferring the power to the rear-end is its 700R4, 4-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission perform just as you would expect from a car with only 48,000 miles. The Flame Red Metallic exterior is in very good condition with only minor paint chips and scratches to note. The exterior is complimented nicely by its factory, silver ground effects, factory rear spoiler and its factory Turbo Cast aluminum wheels. This Trans-Am's Grey cloth interior is in excellent condition with only minor defects to note. All of the seats are in excellent condition with no splits or tears in the cloth. This Pontiac is very nicely optioned with features such as: luxury trim group, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, remote driver mirror, power windows, limited slip rear axle, tilt steering, AM/FM/Cassette stereo, and intermittent wipers.
