"Roadworthy Rocketship"
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1966 Chevrolet Nova for your consideration. Hiding under the hood of this striking red Nova is a 383ci V8 stroker motor with many high performance upgrades. This motor has Mahle Pistons, Molly Rings, Comp cams and roller rockers, aluminum heads, increased diameter valves, and HEI distributor, Melling oil pump, and to top it all off two Holley four-barrel carburetors. All of the power created by this built motor is sent to the rear wheels through a Richmond Gear Super T-10 4-speed manual transmission.
Externally this Nova is finished in a crisp shade of red that is complemented by the 15 inch Cragar wheels in both the front and back. Inside, the black vinyl interior is in great condition and features nearly every gauge imaginable to monitor your engine health from inside the cockpit of this rocketship. Rounding out the interior is a floor-mounted Hurst T-Handle shifter.
It took just 18 months for GM to produce the first Chevy II to compete with Ford's successful Falcon lineup. The second-generation Novas were introduced in 1966 and featured refined styling and updated mechanicals. Designed to be simple, affordable family transportation, the unassuming Nova can be a real sleeper. This Nova can be a great unassuming cruiser, but with its performance upgrades it can be sure to blast by nearly everyone if given the chance. Please call or email today with any questions or for additional information.
