This is a Hi-Optioned 1979 Trans AM Special Edition. Nearly every option box was checked when this Trans AM was ordered at Joe Perillo Pontiac in Chicago, Illinois. It is 1 of 9,784 built in this configuration. That is less than 10% of the 117,108 built that year. That alone makes this a very collectible classic. This Trans AM isn't all looks. It has Ride-Tech's Street Grip Full Suspension System installed. Every component is vehicle specific and the end result is a Trans AM with improved handling and corner grip. It gives the car the perfect ride stance. This is an older restoration that has been well maintained since completion. The finish shows well. The wheel flares are molded smooth into the car. This is an expensive upgrade, but makes for a very clean look very few Trans AM's have. Of course there are the iconic Fisher T-Tops that every Trans AM owner is looking for. Nothing beats driving a Black Trans AM with the T-Tops off on a beautiful Summer evening. This Trans AM is in excellent condition and will make its next owner proud.
