Bold orange, black accents, and V8 power make this 1972 Dodge Charger instantly attractive to your muscle car sensibilities. But then you see this one is also a quality coupe with features you want like an A/C interior and a new transmission.

There's a boldness to a coupe finished in orange, and so this one has the head-turning style you want in a Mopar. And the early 1970s Chargers really knew how to attract attention with a redesign to emphasize a road-owning style. The long hood, graceful fastback roofline, and integrated rear spoiler look terrific. In fact, they look especially nice on this example that has such straight sheet metal. This was built right before the bumper laws dictated style, and so you have some of the most impressive ones ever put on a car. Up front the chrome king surrounds the grille and frames the recessed headlights, and in the rear, it's expertly integrated into the design on the sheet metal and tail lights. This also has the distinct look of the Rallye package with the raised hood in black, coordinating black side vent trim, and special tail lights. Plus, everything from the dog dish hubcaps on black wheels to the dual exhaust notched in the rear valance gives this a terrific sporty style.

The black exterior accents are also a preview of the full black interior. It's a very vintage package with everything from wood-like trim to the AM radio that's still there for display. And the factory air conditioning is blowing nice and cold. You may find areas to improve, including the headliner, but what we like is that this one isn't overdone so that you can choose just exactly how vintage you want this to remain. Plus, the big allure here is that you have a driver-oriented setup with high-back front bucket seats, a round gauge package, and Mopar's Tuff sports steering wheel.

The engine bay has the right classic style with the bold blue engine block radiating from under the big orange air grabber and callout. Dodge's 340 cubic-inch V8 is a terrific powerhouse for stout power, especially with a four-barrel carburetor on top. There have been some solid investments in the motor within about the last year, and so this V8 fires up eagerly and makes a nice tune out of the dual exhaust. The transmission was also replaced, and so you have a smooth-shifting three-speed automatic. Add in power steering, power brakes, and front discs, you'll truly have an easy time behind the wheel.

This is the right package of style and substance for those who love vintage Mopars that were made to drive. So if you've been searching for a V8 coupe, this Charger has the package and price that makes it irresistible. Call today!!!
