1971 Pontiac Trans Am 455 HO, 4spd Manual, California Car, Low Miles
Stock Number: 1695 - Considered by many to be the one to own of the 2nd Gen Trans AMs, the 455HO Trans AM is simply a legendary car. Pontiac was always good at squeezing the most out of every cubic inch and in 1971, they really hit a home run. They paired the round port 197 heads with the 068 Cam and the results were a conservative 335hp rated 455HO that would keep the real Pontiac Excitement alive one more year. There were only 885 - 4 Speed Trans AMs built that year. So these cars were destined to be a serious collectible.
We found this 455-HO in California. It was built in the Van Nuys Plant and Sold New at Vincel Pontiac in St. Louis, MO. Luck would have it that it eventually made its way back home to the Golden State, California. That resulted in this car being very well preserved. It is an all-original panel car. Floors, Trunk, and Quarters are all original to the car. The Exterior finish is the beautiful Lucerne Blue with the Blue Interior. The interior shows very well. It retains its numbers, matching engine, and original JK Wheels. It runs strong, and drives straight and true. If you have been wanting one of these rare and hard to find true Muscle Cars, check out the Hi-Resolution photos. Then give us a call and we will help put this outstanding Trans AM in your Collection.
