BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this 1973 Dodge Charger is in surprisingly good condition for a Mopar product of this vintage that doesn't seem to have seen a restoration. There have been some patches performed in some of the “usual” locations, but the body appears to be straight and would be very receptive to further work should the next owner choose.

PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: According to the fender tag, this car was originally painted JY9 Dark Gold Metallic with a black vinyl top. At some point in the past, the car was repainted to the current yellow color though the vinyl top appears to be original. The paint is in good overall condition, but is showing some normal signs of age and use. There are some bubbles showing at the bottom of the doors. The vinyl top is in okay condition, but does have some aging such as wrinkles as can be seen in the photos.

INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The fender tag notes that this car was originally a gold and black interior. Likely at the same time as the exterior repaint, the interior was changed to black and yellow to match. Also like the exterior, the interior is in good overall condition but is showing normal wear and tear in addition to aging on some components.

MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: The 318 is one of the most reliable and affordable engines that ever came out of Chrysler. While it's no power monster, a 318 is a solid unit and this one is no exception and provides more than adequate power to comfortably cruise this Charger, even as large as it is! While the car runs and drives as one would expect a car of this vintage to, it may be worthwhile to do a basic tune up.

WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: This car is a nice little driver that is sure to turn heads anywhere you park it. However, it is not a fully restored car and does have some of the quirks and features that come with age.

DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? Non-functional items include the heat, air conditioning, wipers, horn, radio, and emergency brake.
