“Rising Classic”
The Pontiac Firebird is an automobile that was built by GM from 1967 through 2002. It was introduced the same year as the platform-sharing Chevrolet Camaro. During that 35 years of production they only had four different generations of major styling changes.
The Firebird we are pleased to present here is next on the short list to becoming the next generation of muscle cars and next on the list to be considered affordable classics. This 1991 Pontiac Trans AM GTA is in excellent running and cosmetic condition for its age, and is a blast to drive. The 5.7 liter 350 v8 fires right up and is paired to an automatic transmission that shifts smoothly. The vehicle rides on brand new wheels and tires and has new sway bar links. The GTA option was an additional $800 and many called it the “Ferrari Back End.” It was a notchback option that changed the rear end look of the car, it typically had to be ordered direct from the factory and rarely seen on a lot and there was a 6 month waiting list. Other features include center console, brown leather bucket seats, rear defrost, performance suspension, tilt wheel, cruise, power brakes and power steering, air conditioning (inop).
