1978 Mercury Cougar XR7 finished in Cream paint with white quarter vinyl roof. The paint was redone 15 years ago. This is a true XR7 with the "97" in the vin. Powered by the 351 V8 that is paired with an automatic transmission. Nicely equipped with power steering, power brakes, and A/C. A/C has been converted and does BLOWS COLD! According to the consignor, he is believed to be the second owner and believes 83,243 miles to be original. We cannot confirm that. Riding on American Racing wheels with Uniroyal tires, tires are newer. Mocha cloth bench seat interior appears very original with the exception of an aftermarket steering wheel cover. Fluid have been recently changed as well. Seats are in nice shape and the clock and radio are working correctly. Wipers are working also. Stock sounding Mercury!
