(Please note: If you happen to be viewing this 2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE on a website other than our Garage Kept Motors site, it's possible that you've only seen some of our many photographs of the car due to third-party website limitations. To be sure you access all the more than 150 photographs, as well as a short start-up and walk-around video, and a link to the Camaro's low-mileage Carfax history report, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.)

“... while GM might tell you 'Chevy runs deep,' the compelling power-to-dollar ratio of this souped-up muscle car means your pockets won't have to.” NewCarTestDrives, December 2011

The NewCarTestDrives writer, Laura Burstein, went on to describe the ZL1's performance charms: “Powering this rear-wheel-drive pony car is a... 6.2-liter V8... good for zero-to-60 mph in 3.9 seconds. Top speed is 180 mph with the 6-speed manual transmission.....”

She was equally impressed with the interior: “Inside, leather upholstery and heated seats are standard, as well as rear-park assist with a rear-view camera display integrated in the center rear-view mirror. The standard nine-speaker audio system has both USB and Bluetooth connectivity.”

Offered here in black-over-black is a superbly maintained, low-mileage Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE with the big V8 and a pair of turbochargers. With only 32,069 miles on the odometer—just 4,000 miles per-year on average since new—this is about as “nearly new” as you can get. Its sole Carfax hiccup is a minor, cosmetic-damage incident in 2020, long since professionally repaired with no sign of it remaining. The car's outstanding condition makes the sport coupe a standout, and the stunning twin-turbo performance is the icing--lots of it--on the cake.

The exterior black paint is perfectly glossy and uniform across the entire body giving the Camaro a somewhat sinister look. (To best assess the quality of the paint and trim finish, be sure to view the close-up photographs of the car in the accompanying gallery.) The bulging hood's dark-carbon-fiber treatment with reverse-facing louvres and scoop, the black front and rear bowtie logos, the black lower-front chin spoiler, and the front-fender red-and-matte-black angled stripes all give the car a purposeful, high-performance look. Other touches of black—on the upper and lower front grilles, the three side “vent” treatments ahead of the rear wheel wells, a black fuel filler cover, dark-tint cabin glass, the blacked-out trim on the lower rear fascia housing the dual exhaust outlets—all add to the serious look. Even the shape of the quad taillights gives a hint of menace. Gloss-black, painted 10-spoke, 20-inch factory aluminum wheels (with red-bowtie-logo centers) showcase the brake rotors and red-painted calipers. In combination with the Good Year® 255/55 high-performance tires, any doubt as to the car's performance cred dissipates like so much tire smoke.

Inside, the black color theme continues with accents of brushed metal. Black leather upholstery (with perforated seat inserts and gray stitching) covers the seats—well-bolstered buckets up front (heated) and two-occupant bucket-like bench in the rear. Jet-black carpeting covers the cabin floors. Stylized factory door trim mixes brushed metal, a lower Camaro-branded panel, Boston® audio speakers, and black hard plastic. Behind the bowtie-branded sport steering wheel, the large analog speedometer and tachometer and the four console-mounted engine-monitoring gauges retain a look that traces back to the model's earliest Sixties cars. (An air-fuel-ratio gauge and a turbo-boost gauge have also been added.) The stock driver-information touchscreen display occupies the top-center-stack position with climate controls below. A prominent "Camaro SS" emblem on the dashboard tim faces the front passenger. The shifter for the 6-speed manual transmission is mounted on the console. Virtually every component and trim surface in the interior is near showroom-new in appearance and feel.

Under the hood, the 6.6-liter, 460-horsepower (+) V8, with twin Hellion® turbochargers (which explain the “plus”), makes a commanding statement of power. The engine bay is spotless. All components are properly installed; all wiring and engine plumbing is properly routed. The shock-tower brace includes a graphic turbo message in symbols. Viewed from below—ther chassis shows an absence of damage, dust, or dirt. It could not have looked much better when it rolled out of the factory. The massive, upgraded, dual-exhaust system with crossover, the clean lower engine and differential surfaces, and the red rear coil-over springs are all focal points here.

The Camaro's factory-affixed build and identification tags remain mounted. The removed stock exhaust components are included in the sale.

While the more than 150 high-definition photographs and the short walk-around-and-startup video available on the GarageKeptMotors website showcase this Camaro SS in detail from every angle, including from below, we expect and encourage in-person inspections at our Grand Rapids, Michigan showroom. Please call to arrange an appointment in advance as our showroom is not open to the public. And feel free to get in touch anytime by phone or email if you have questions.
